Day 1: Cairo
Welcome to Egypt, upon your arrival at Cairo Airport keep your eyes open for the Out and About Adventure sign, our airport representative will assist you through immigration and passport control and collecting your baggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel, freshen up and start our group meeting with your tour guide and other group members, who will brief you about the tour package and the amazing experiences you will have over the next eight (8) days. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy the ambiance of Cairo! Or you can enjoy Optional Activities Group Dinner on the Cruise.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids Complex and Saqqara Necropolis
After a hearty breakfast, get ready for a day filled with early tours and adventures. We will be exploring Egypt's famous pyramids and Sphinx, iconic wonders that are steeped in ancient history. The first stop will be the Giza Pyramids complex, which consists of the Pyramid of Cheops or Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre or Chephren, and the Pyramid of Menkaure or Mykerinos. Your guide will provide valuable insights into the 4600-year-old tombs, including their historical background, construction methods, and the duration it took the ancient Egyptians to build them.

In addition to learning about the pyramids, your guide will also give you ample time to take as many photos as you desire. If you wish, you can even visit the inside of one of the pyramids. These monumental structures, each weighing upwards of one ton, have been the subject of great mystery over the years, with some speculating that aliens were behind their construction. It's no wonder they draw millions of visitors each year.

Next up is the Valley Temple of the Pyramids, where the mighty Sphinx, Egypt's iconic symbol, lies. Your Egyptologist guide will share all the lore and tales surrounding this half-lion, a half-man creature as you get up close and personal with its majestic nature.

Our final stop for the day is the Step Pyramid of Djoser in Sakkara, the oldest pyramid in Egypt dating back to the 3rd Dynasty of Egypt. After this amazing day of touring, we'll transport you to the train station to board a sleeper train for Aswan.

Day 3: Aswan and Philae Temple
Upon waking up in Aswan, our tour will begin with a visit to the High Dam, an impressive engineering construction built in 1960 to protect the country from the strong waters of the Nile River. Considered one of Egypt's modern marvels, it stands nearly 400 feet tall.

Later in the day, we will head to the Philae Temple, an ancient temple erected in honor of the Goddess Isis. After exploring the temple, we will check in to our hotel in Aswan. In the evening, an optional group dinner will be available for those interested in experiencing traditional Homemade Nubian cuisine at the nearby Nubian village.

Day 4: Aswan
Get ready to discover Aswan and the top view of the Nile River and if you have good energy go to one of most unforgettable Temples, Abu Simbel temples as an optional group Activity Once we arrive at Abu Simbel, we will tour the temple, which is made from solid rock. They were originally carved into the side of a mountain but were relocated in the mid-nineties. You will witness Abu Simbel, The Great Temple, which took nearly 20 years to build. Its massive grandeur has attracted millions of visitors over the last century. You will also get to experience the small temple, or the temple of Hathor and Nefertari, which was dedicated to Hathor and a chief consort of the time. Its beautiful architecture features images of the king and his consort nearly as equals which is almost unheard of. Back To Aswan to start our amazing Nile traditional Sailing Boat (Felucca) for the next two nights so you can relax and can enjoy cruising down the Nile.

Day 5: Cruising Down the Nile with our traditional Sailing Boat (Felucca)
Take some time to unwind and recharge as you swim in the Nile and socialize with your fellow group members. It's the perfect opportunity to make new friends and build lasting connections while on your tour. Our skilled Nubian sailing crew will prepare delicious and satisfying meals for the group, which you can enjoy while basking in the picturesque scenery. As night falls, gather around the campfire for a cozy and memorable evening.

Day 6: Kom Ombo, Luxor
After breakfast, we will bid farewell to our felucca and start our drive to the temple of Kom Ombo, a double temple perched on the banks of the Nile. The temple was built during the Ptolemaic dynasty and is renowned for its unique architecture designed to honor two sets of gods. Our next stop will be in Edfu, home to the Temple of Horus, where legend has it that Horus took revenge on Seth for the murder of Osiris. This temple is a popular destination for mythology enthusiasts and those in awe of grandeur.

We'll then proceed to Luxor, where we'll visit the Luxor Temple, built during the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom under the rule of King Ramses II, and dedicated to the Theban triad. This temple has great significance to the Opet Festival, a celebration of fertility. Our adventure continues to the Karnak temples, monumental structures erected to honor the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. These temples are a testament to the ancient Egyptians' architectural and engineering prowess.

Day 7: Luxor and Valley of the Kings
We will begin our day exploring the west bank of Luxor, starting with the Valley of the Kings. For 500 years, Pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom were buried in tombs that were decorated majestically with scenes from Egyptian mythology. Although many of the tombs have been robbed over time, they still hold the power of the pharaohs buried there.

Next, we will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which dates back to the 18th dynasty. Queen Hatshepsut was the only Pharaonic woman who reigned over ancient Egypt. If time allows, we will also visit the Colossi of Memnon.

For those seeking adventure, we offer an optional hot air balloon ride over Luxor. Afterward, we will drive to Hurghada, a beautiful Red Sea coastal city with some of the world's most stunning beaches. We will spend the next four nights in Hurghada, where you will have free time to relax and enjoy the sun and the sea.

Day 8: Hurghada Red Sea
For the next three days, we will be exploring Hurghada, a beloved beach destination situated on the stunning Red Sea coast of Egypt. With its picturesque beaches, clear waters, and vibrant aquatic life, Hurghada is a utopia for water sports enthusiasts and beach lovers alike. We will take a boat trip to Giftun Island, a protected marine reserve that is situated a few kilometers off the coast of Hurghada. This island is home to some of the most magnificent coral reefs in the Red Sea, making it the ideal spot for snorkeling or scuba diving in crystal-clear waters. You can also relax and sunbathe on the island's small beach.

Day 9: Relax by the Beach
Explore the vast expanse of the desert in Hurghada through several tours that take you on a thrilling safari through the dunes. Rent a quad bike or a dune buggy to race over the sand and enjoy the adrenaline rush. For a more relaxed pace, try sandboarding or take a camel ride and experience the traditional mode of desert travel. Some tours even offer a unique experience of a traditional Bedouin dinner under the stars, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and cuisine.

Day 11: Drive back to Cairo
Embark on a scenic 5-6 hour drive from Hurghada to Cairo, covering around 450 kilometers. The route takes you through the mesmerizing desert landscape, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings. You will have the opportunity to take several breaks at rest stops along the way, where you can grab a quick bite, use the restroom, and stretch your legs while enjoying the stunning scenery. Once you reach Cairo, you will have the rest of the day to explore the city and its many attractions.

Day 12: Cairo
Spend the day at your leisure or opt for a visit to some of Cairo's iconic landmarks, including the Egyptian Museum, the Hanging Church, the Citadel of Saladin, and the Mosque of Mohammed Ali. In the evening, join our group meeting with your tour guide and fellow travelers to bid farewell and celebrate the end of our tour.

Day 13: Tour End
